Comfortable with speaking at both large and small events, Lucas is available to speak at classical school graduations, emcee donor dinners & fundraising events, speak at school & youth retreats, and lead faculty professional development sessions. Known for his charisma and energy, Lucas loves communicating the vision of Christ-centered organizations with boldness and passion.
Deeply involved in Classical Education, Lucas is the Head of Upper School at Beacon Hill Classical Academy in Camarillo, California, where he oversees all aspects of the 6-12th grade program as a young, dynamic classical school leader. Prior to his role as Head of Upper School, Lucas has served in Christian Education as an Assistant Principal, Dean, Athletic Director, and School Chaplain and has taught humanities courses for 7th-12th grades. He’s also been involved in church ministry contexts for many years.
His proficiency and passion in the classroom have been acknowledged nationally, as evidenced by his receipt of the renowned 2024 Christian Teacher of the Year Award from the Herzog Foundation.
Lucas is currently pursuing an M.St. in Classical Christian Studies from New Saint Andrews College. He holds a Master of Legal Studies from Trinity Law School and his BA in Philosophy & Religious Studies from Westmont College. He is grateful to be a husband to his beautiful wife, Maddy, and a father to his two adorable children. They reside in Ventura, California.
